LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Ron DeSantis had made it to the headlines yet again after this shocking campaign staff shake-up ahead of the GOP debate. In addition to that, on August 9, a video of DeSantis surfaced on Twitter.
The video that surfaced was from a press conference, where the Governor of Florida was seen behaving in an unusual manner. This video now has close to 1 million views and several retweets, one of which includes ‘The View’ co-host Ana Navarro.
On August 8, Navarro mocked DeSantis’ campaign shake-up with a nursery rhyme, and on August 9, she labeled him “weird.” The internet hasn’t responded positively to the latter.
‘People don’t like him’
The original video posted by @Calltoactivism said, “Ron DeSantis’ human shell just had a major malfunction. Is something wrong with him?” ‘The View’ co-host responded to that tweet as she talked about the “problem” with DeSantis. Navarro wrote, “DeSantis’ problem is that he is weird and people don’t like him. Firing the Campaign Manager is not going to fix that.”
Although Navarro focussed more on the campaign staff shake-up, she also took a personal dig at the GOP leader when she called him “weird” and claimed that “people don’t like him.” The internet hasn’t reacted too well to Navarro’s response to this video of DeSantis which has been circulating on Twitter.
‘People don’t like you either’
People have directly quoted Navarro’s response to DeSantis and used it to mock her as one person wrote, “People are saying you're weird and unlikable. Is there no fixing you either?” Another tweeted, “People don't like you either, you appear to be doing well enough.”
Some have slammed Navarro for talking politics altogether as one person wrote, “Politics from Anna Navaro. We have truly entered idiocracy.” Some even labeled her a ‘Karen’ as they wrote, “Ana is the karen of Karen's.”
A few responses to Navarro’s tweet have defended DeSantis as one tweet read, “There is no perfect human.” And another offered a possible explanation for the governor of Florida’s behavior in the video as they wrote, “I really think he's on the spectrum.”
