LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'CBS Superfan' just put out a great second episode and has further exceeded expectations in bringing a whole new reality show experience.
But it is not just the contestants or the audience members who have screamed for their idols at the top of their lungs and have wanted to get acknowledged by them.
It is the host Nate Burleson, the regular on 'CBS Mornings', and showrunner Keltie Knight who are just as excited to meet these big stars.
In a recent interview, they also revealed who their dream guests to have on the 'Superfan' stage would be.
Nate Burleson chooses Beyonce and Jay Z as dream 'Superfan' duo
'CBS Superfan', a product of Knight's ideas, has broken down the walls that kept the fans and their idols apart and brought them to the same stage to interact like they never could before.
When asked who would get the hosts to "lose it" like the contestants on the new TV show, Burleson's immediate reply was the iconic duo of Beyonce and Jay Z.
"I need my hip-hop hits," Burleson started, "So, I'll go with Jay Z and Beyonce for a two-for-one special."
He also went on to suggest Drake as one of his dream guests for the show. "But also, you can give me Drizzy Drake. Shout out to another Canadian."
On the other hand, Knight's choice was the classic Celine Dion, who she acknowledged was still recovering. "I'll just put her on the throne," she suggested, "She can just sit there and bask in the glow of her fans. She doesn't need to perform."
'Superfan' hosts call Shania Twain a 'dream'
The most recent episode featured the new idol guest Shania Twain after 'Superfan' was kicked off by LL Cool J.
"Amazing," Burleson commented on Twain's 'Superfan' appearance. "It's like everything you dream Shania is and would be," said Knight.
"Shania is in our DNA, she is in our blood," the showrunner continued, "She impressed us much."
'Superfan' has four episodes left out of a total of six which will be featuring more musical idols Kelsea Ballerini, Gloria Estefan, Little Big Town, and Pitbull.
