NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Former Fox News host Megyn Kelly recently enjoyed the Men’s Singles Final between Novak Djokovic and Daniil Medvedev at the US Open with her husband, Douglas Brunt, but she had a bit of criticism as the national anthem wasn't played.
Despite enjoying the game, Kelly also hoped for a "non-woke" and "non-agenda" pushing event, which apparently wasn't met.
However, the 52-year-old quickly clicked a snap with her husband to earmark her presence at the prestigious event and later shared it on her Instagram handle, only for it to blow up among her followers.

After the game, Megyn Kelly took to social media to express her disappointment at the event for not playing the national anthem before the Men’s Singles final.

Her voice was echoed by the fans who slammed the event for the same. One fan said, "If the National Anthem is NOT played at the US Open, then it is NOT the US OPEN!!"
Another stated, "It’s the US Open!! Play the anthem!" while a follower wrote, "They even played our National Anthem yesterday at the beginning of our golf outing. The US Open can’t? That’s a disgrace!"
"That’s Pitiful! I’m a Proud American & embarrassed by all of this woke agenda," added one more, with another expressing, "The only way you will have a non-woke US Open, or any other sport is if the people refuse to show up and demand respect for the nation."
