LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Paris Hilton's love for animals is evident through her extensive collection of pets, showcasing her passion for their companionship. With a total of 23 pets, including dogs, cats, a pig, a horse, and even exotic creatures, Paris has dedicated herself to providing a loving and luxurious environment for her furry family. Hilton's dedication towards her pet animals can be seen in the Instagram account that she's created for them, often sharing their adorable moments with the world. While two of her pets are rescued, the majority of the animals have either been gifted to her or purchased.
Recently, Paris surprised her fans with a new addition to her furry family: a long-haired chihuahua puppy. The timing is poignant, as it follows the recent loss of Harajuku Bitch, her beloved 23-year-old chihuahua. What makes this puppy even more special is the revelation that it is related to Harajuku! However, fans were disappointed with the adorable addition as they accused Hilton of not adopting dogs from the shelter where they are actually in need of a better life.
Paris Hilton welcomes a chihuahua puppy
Hilton purchased her new puppy from Foufou's Teacup Puppies Inc, which is known for its international service. The pet company offers adorable teacup puppies luxuriously flown with in-flight nannies. Prices for these coveted pets start at $6,000. In the video posted by Paris, she said, "Hey everyone, meet the newest edition to the Hilton pets family this is my little guy as you all know I recently lost Harajuku Bitch she was my 23-year-old chihuahua I miss her and love her so much. And Gus reminds me so much of her. His mom is actually, Harajuku's cousin so I am so happy to have Harajuku's little nephew." While a few fans thought the puppy, Gus, was adorable, a few bashed Hilton for not adopting a dog from the shelters.
'Save unfortunate dog!'
Hilton received brutal criticism over her new purchase. One user said, "Save unfortunate dog!" and a second user added, "That's so sad because you could spread the word about rescue and help all these overcrowded shelters for all these fur babies that are dying. Adoption is always best." While a third social media user added, "I think every dog deserves a home, even ones who are bred for profit...but I do hope people consider adopting over shopping." One agitated netizen said, "Of course not a rescue. God forbid." A fifth fan said, "Why don't you adopt?. Buying animals is a form of exploitation. Adopt don't shop." One more user said, "Please consider adopting!"
