Olivia Dunne thanks thief for stealing her phone at Coachella
Dunne was dancing when she realized her money and phone were stolen. The Louisiana State University's star later thanked the thief for stealing her phone.
Dunne claimed that on a chilly day, she and her sister had to go to an Apple store to get a new phone.
She added that none of her social media accounts had been compromised in the incident.
Her phone's location was discovered to be in China when it was monitored, and the data appeared to have been totally erased.
She blogged online about her experience. In a humorous Instagram post, Dunne thanked the pickpocket for giving her the chance to buy the more advanced phone model.
She captioned the post writing, "To the person who pick-pocketed my phone, thanks I needed an upgrade anyways:) #revolvefestival."
