LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Mindy Kaling posted pictures from her upcoming campaign with Andie Swim on Friday, May 12. She posed by a pool wearing a black one-piece swimsuit and accessorizing with sunglasses in one of the promotional campaigns photos, while she wore a yellow swimsuit in another.
The 43-year-old 'Late Night' star has come a long way in terms of how she feels about her body since she stopped covering it a few years ago. She reportedly said that she felt "great" and was proud to show off her sleek figure now that she has shed nearly 30 pounds as a result of enhancing her workout and eating smaller meals. Kaling, however, admitted to People that while the compliments on her figure were "flattering," she tried to "tune out" most of the remarks.

'I'm feeling really confident in my body these days'
Kaling reportedly said, "I know people are really interested in my body and the changes in my body, and I think it's flattering and sometimes it's just a little much, so I don't try to tune it in too much. The truth is that I spend so much time and energy trying to be healthy," according to People.
Speaking about her figure, Kaling said, "I'm feeling really confident in my body these days, which is not something that I've been able to say for my whole life, unfortunately. I feel great."

Kaling, an avid Andie Swim supporter, collaborated closely to make sure the line accommodates all body types. She said, "I have been a fan of Andie Swim for years, drawn to their authenticity as a brand, their sense of humor, and of course, the fit of their suits," according to the Daily Mail.
Kaling added, "For that reason, I jumped at the chance to work with Andie on designing my first ever swim collection. I wanted the collection to be bold, fun, and empowering, full of pieces that make you look and feel amazing. The collection is a mix of our brand-new designs and some of my favorite Andie styles reimagined in new textures and colors."

Kaling claimed she was so happy with her new body image that she has consented to appear in a swimsuit campaign. She wrote on Instagram, "I bet you didn't know my side hustle was swimsuit design. I am so excited to launch my first-ever swimwear collection(!!) in collaboration with Andie!"
Kaling added, "I designed new limited edition styles, and also re-imagined classic Andie suits in bold + fun Mindy-approved colors (but also some classic colors if you're, like, just trying to be chill). I am not crazy about trying on swimsuits. In fact, I kind of famously despise it? But these are so flattering, I promise your new favorite suit is in this collection, available in sizes XS - XXXL.
