NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Former Fox News journalist Megyn Kelly has shifted to a new studio for her podcast ‘The Megyn Kelly Show’ which sports a red background instead of the blue cityscape that mostly forms the background of the show.
The 52-year-old returned with a new episode of her podcast focussing on the media’s malpractice concerning President Joe Biden and Donald Trump.
However, there was a ‘red’ twist in the background as Kelly addressed that she’s moved into a new studio for her podcast and is embracing a new red background instead of the “damn blue cityscape.”
Megyn Kelly’s new studio has a ‘Red’ background instead of a 'Blue Cityscape’
The ex-Fox News journalist returned after a brief Labor Day weekend holiday with a new podcast for her subscribers.
However, what was different which Kelly embraced early in her podcast was the change in the venue and a new background that she had never tried before.
Kelly started with, “Super excited to bring you the podcast from our new studio gone red.”
She then brought attention to her company ‘Devil May Care’ and said that she used the name of the company to paint her background red.
Kelly added, “We’ve leaned into our Devil May Care Media. I like red because you know what nobody else is using red as their background and I’m sick of the damn cityscape, the blue cityscape.”
Kelly then moved on to state how her show's background is different from all the other news channels. “You know the cityscape is the background of every Fox News show, half of CNN and MSNBC shows and we’re super excited and you should tell us what you feel about it.”
She later requested her subscribers to "get used to it too.” However, that didn’t happen as many linked the ‘red’ change in the background to the demon and told her that it was the color of ‘Satan.’
Fans call Megyn Kelly’s new ‘Red’ background in the show ‘Demonic’
Kelly was happy to announce the makeover of her podcast ‘The Megyn Kelly Show’ to her subscribers but it wasn’t equally well-received by some netizens.
One brought forth the problem associated with the color red and wrote, “Devil? Not really something to joke about. Especially these days with Hollywood and others spreading the Devil's ways, I think this is a very bad choice. But have at it. It DOES make me wonder where Megyn really stands.”
A second said, “Still love your show, but unfortunately not the red,” while a third said, “Red has been associated with Satan lately.”
A fourth had a suggestion, “Red has always been a tad harsh on the eyes, I think that that’s why no one uses it. Maybe go for the good side of the force like lightsaber green.”
Another stated, “Nope (thumbs down emojis) demonic” while a sixth mentioned, “Reminds me of the background of Biden's speech (With thumbs down emojis)”
