CLEVELAND, OHIO: Logan Paul has hit back at his ‘Impaulsive’ co-host Mike Majlak who trolled him over Wade Plemons’ boxing skills claims about Mavericks.
Logan Paul is eager to finally get a win in the ring in the fourth attempt when he fights Dillon Danis after more than two years since his previous outing against Mayweather in an eight-round scoreless fight.
Logan Paul takes a jibe at Mike Majlak
Wade Plemons, a boxing analyst on YouTube, has over 340,000 followers to his channel and is one of the most well-known experts on fighting in the influencer community.
But in the past, his takes have drawn criticism, notably for his assessments of Paul and KSI.
Plemons commented that he "wished he didn't just see the same thing that he saw from two years ago" in a video analyzing a little portion of Paul's sparring clip.
And the co-host of Impaulsive, Mike Majlak, picked up on this, making the assertion in jest during a recent episode.
Paul described his skills and advancements, and Majlak responded, “I would have agreed up until a couple of days ago, I saw some sparring footage of you and you haven’t learned anything over the past couple of years."
He added, "Your head movement looked really bad, your foot movement was the same, your hands were still down. I’ll be honest it was a short clip, maybe like one or two seconds.”
Logan was not pleased with this and replied, “How desperate do you have to be to see two seconds of sparring footage in the middle of a combination and make a 10-minute video out of it?”
He added, “How do you even do that? If I could milk life like that I would, honestly, all power to the guy. That’s incredible, to be able to make something out of nothing and then the fact that people give a f****.
He asked, "Who are you to comment on fighting? Do you know anything about this sport or are you a commentator?”
He further said, “Do you engage in the activity? You [Majlak] said it or posted something on Instagram the other day that there's something about combat, there are so many armchair quarterbacks, why does everyone that watches fighting think they know fighting?”
Logan Paul returns to boxing
Logan Paul will be returning to boxing after a gap of 2 years as he faces Dillon Danis on October 14 at Manchester, England.
The DAZN match card will also include the main event between KSI and Tommy Fury.
Given the social media commotion these pairings have already generated, including the conflict between Paul and Danis that has resulted in several legal issues, nobody should be overly surprised by these pairings.
Although it may be the contest that has received the most attention that night, it is not the main event.
That distinction belongs to KSI, who has been building a pro boxing resume gradually and who will now face his most difficult test yet.
