LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: You've probably heard by now that Kourtney Kardashian and her husband Travis Barker are expecting a baby and a "little drummer boy coming soon!" The reality star provided additional details about her elaborate gender reveal celebration, which took place on June 24, including how everything came together in just two days.
The 44-year-old socialite chose to go with a "'Tour stop' vibe" rather than the customary pink and blue gender reveal when she and her husband, drummer for the rock band Blink-182, announced last month that they are expecting a baby boy. Kourt and ex-husband Scott Disick share three children: Mason, 13, Penelope, 10, and Reign, 8. Barker has two children with ex-wife Shanna Moakler: Landon, 19, and Alabama, 17, as well as stepdaughter Atiana, 24.

How did Kourt plan the grand party in less than 48 hours?
Kardashian, 44, and Barker, 47, called Corrie Mendes, an event planner, to prepare their lavish reveal the Thursday before the celebration. Paper streamers made of "biodegradable" materials were used to celebrate the "iconic moment" of the gender reveal. "While they were both excited for whatever God’s plan was for their baby, the blue pop bursting from the streamer cannons was electric," a Poosh newsletter stated on behalf of Kardashian. "You couldn’t really see them until they were floating in the air, making the anticipation of the big secret that much more emotional and exciting."
'World Tour with Special Guest Kravis'
The interior of the stylish rocker party, as earlier reported by Page Six, combined the fashions of the 'Kardashians' star with the drummer. There was a "will-call" station at the party entrance where guests could pick up pink or blue wristbands to indicate their gender predictions. In addition, Edgar Regalado created artwork that displayed all-access tickets and a drum set with the words "World Tour with Special Guest Kravis" printed on it. "Everyone was so obsessed with it, they wanted merch with the design, although it was a one-time special piece," the newsletter said.
'Roadie cases acted as coffee tables'
A lovely bouquet of baby's breath flowers surrounded Barker's drum equipment, champagne glasses, candles, and a little microphone in the foyer. Also, the room was also covered in black balloons in the form of hearts, which connected everything. The expecting couple, who was married in May 2022, asked John McGuire, a production designer for Blink-182, to create a "literal stage" where the big reveal happened. "Authentic wooden stadium seats set up around roadie cases acted as coffee tables where guests awaited the action," the announcement detailed.
'Nachos, popcorn, chicken nuggets' and more..!
The elegant gathering provided guests with small cameras and gender-specific beverages supported by Kendall Jenner's 818 Tequila so they could capture special moments for Barker and Kardashian to "use later in their baby scrapbook." In terms of food, the owner of Lemme made sure that there were no dietary constraints in place for the party's food options. "She wanted to just have the yummiest food possible and lean into her pregnancy cravings," it read. "There were nachos, popcorn, chicken nuggets, corn dogs, hot dogs, sliders, pizza, and more, as well as vegan options of everything for Travis."
