Joe Rogan and Daniel Cormier recently reflected on Alex Pereira's journey within the organization, noting the remarkable nature of his accomplishments. Despite having fewer fights than typically expected from a two-division champion, Pereira's success stands out.

Commenting on this, Cormier observed, “Normally when you have like 11 fights you’re on the prelims if you’re even in the UFC.”

Cormier further elaborated on Pereira's impressive record, saying, "This guy is now champion in two weight divisions, he has two of the three highest grossing pay-per-views as a headliner in Madison Square Garden history. He’s only got about six or seven UFC fights. He’s beaten four champions. It’s crazy to think what this man has done."

Pereira's UFC career has been remarkably brief yet impactful, with only seven fights to his name. For comparison, Conor McGregor won his first undisputed UFC title in his eighth fight with the organization.

Within these seven bouts, Pereira has faced Israel Adesanya twice, emerging victorious on both occasions. His list of opponents also includes notable fighters such as Bruno Silva, Jan Blachowicz, and Sean Strickland.
