Masters' star Mattea Roach seemingly paid a subtle tribute to their late father by donning a necklace and sharing a picture of it from their dream vacation. The Sun reports that Roach was also seen donning their late father's denim jacket and sharing a selfie from a beach. The look of contentment on their face makes it evident they clearly missed their father.
Roach almost won 'Jeopardy! Masters' and merely lost by 2100 combined points. Their loss at the game only came after another contestant made a much more quirky wager. While they may not have won the game show but they definitely won the hearts of audiences, resulting in a fan following.
Mattea Roach misses their father
Roach posted a picture of themselves from Portugal captioning it, "Almost two years ago I had a very bizarre job interview where I got asked a bunch of trivia questions, followed by “let’s say, hypothetically, we gave you a bunch of money for answering more of these questions on television - what would you do with it?” I said I would go on a long delayed trip to Portugal. Pleased to report I got the job and made good."
Roach lost their father Philip Henry Roach, who was 57 at the time while filming 'Jeopardy! Masters'. They insisted that it was their father who instilled their love for geography and is a huge reason behind their participation in the show.

Roach honored their father by donning a necklace with the word 'Daddy' and wearing their father's denim jacket. They posted the selfie on Instagram and soon after their fans started flooding the comment section. Fans could not help but notice the sweet gesture, with one fan commenting, "The daddy necklace is everything." Another user commented, "Glad you're living your dream.
