LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jennifer Lopez is blamed for forcing Ben Affleck's look as he has reportedly got his plastic surgery done. "He had Botox injections in his forehead, between his eyebrows, in his crow’s feet, and even in his lower face next to his mouth to give it a subtle lift," said an insider.
"The truth is, he hated how old and tired he started to look," the source added and noted that the enhancements to his face likely left him in distress instead of complimenting him. "It’s got to be killing him that he looks so stiff-faced and swollen," the source revealed, according to OK Magazine.
'People are snickering Jennifer had something to do with it'
The 'Argo' actor previously had a cosmetic change-up in the late-'90s when he was mocked for getting huge, pure-white veneers. Currently, Lopez is being blamed for his new look after the plastic surgery. "People are snickering Jennifer had something to do with it," said the insider and added, "She’s so image-conscious and always after him to straighten up and look well-groomed. Ever since they got back together, Jennifer has been trying to help Ben polish his looks."
However, Lopez has been a fan of Affleck's looks as she recently shared a shirtless photo of him on Father's Day. The actor is reportedly following her "diet and exercise plan," which is "100 percent working for him."
"Ben used to only go outside to pick up his Dunkin’ deliveries and fast-food deliveries. Munchkins for days. Now, he’s going outside to sit for a nice breakfast with Jennifer on the patio with avocado toast, granola, and berries," the insider shared and noted, the 'Hypnotic' actor is "the happiest he’s ever been, so he’ll tell anyone that that means he’s the healthiest he’s ever been, too."
Affleck and Lopez are set to renew their wedding vows
The couple, who had a private wedding ceremony at Affleck's house last year, is now set to renew their vows as they approach their one-year anniversary. "Jen and Ben are as much in love as they ever have been, and this last year of marriage has been, in a word, spectacular," a source revealed.
"All their kids are doing great, the families are all in sync. And to celebrate all that, as they get closer to their first wedding anniversary, they both want to renew their vows and show how much in love they are with each other. They are not taking this second chance for granted," the source further added, reported by the Daily Mail. The grand event is scheduled to take place at their newly purchased million-dollar mansion in Los Angeles at "the end of July," according to a friend of the couple.
