MIAMI, FLORIDA: Despite a "rocky" finale, there are reasons to be optimistic about the Season 20 lead. Charity Lawson may have walked away engaged, according to Bachelor Nation, after they noticed a ring on her finger on her most recent outing.
Charity's Bachelorette season is in full swing, with each rose ceremony putting the 27-year-old therapist one step closer to a proposal — or so the theory goes. Is Charity married after 'The Bachelorette'? It's been almost two months since her season wrapped, so there are plenty of interviews and social media hints to go on. Fans, however, have discovered their most solid clue in one of her most recent Instagram postings.
Is Charity engaged?
The finale of 'The Bachelorette' may have been spoiled after Charity and one of her competitors shared images from the same place. Charity posted a snapshot on her Instagram Story in early July, showing two cocktails and a candle on top of a table in a dimly lit area.
The candle came from the eatery Dutch Fred's in New York City, where Charity was doing many rounds of publicity. Dotun Olubeko, one of her current finalists, uploaded a similar IG Story around 24 hours later. Dotun, 30, is an integrative medicine expert from Brooklyn, New York. Furthermore, Dotun posted a snapshot of some appetizers he had begun eating at a restaurant, ostensibly while seated across from someone else.
In the picture, he added Dutch Fred's geotag. Reality Steve reshared Dotun's photo after the contestant "quickly deleted" it from his Instagram. He also addressed the matter on his Daily Roundup podcast, stating it's safe to presume the two were involved, and that Charity may have ruined her season's conclusion.
Charity was joined in Miami by Kat Izzo, Jess Girod, Mercedes Northup, and Kylee Russell, who spent the weekend relaxing on the beach, dancing, and eating amazing meals. Charity posted images from the trip to Instagram on July 24 with the caption, "It girls… And we ain’t playing tag!"
"Still hurting, but so worth it!" Kat wrote on the post. Charity, according to Kylee, is "My Barbie! ILY forever!" And Kaity Biggar said, "I’m so sad I missed this adventure !!! Y’all look STUNNNNNNING!" Mercedes also uploaded weekend photographs and remarked, "Trip made it out of the group chat!" Kat described them as "my girls for life."
But what made Bachelor Nation more excited than the girls' trip was what they spotted in Charity's pictures.
'Is that an engagement ring on Charity’s finger???🤔'
Fans quickly took to the comment section to ask, "Is that an engagement ring on Charity’s finger???🤔." Others agreed saying, "definitely issssss." Another person chimed in, "I see it in the other picture too 👀." A fourth user wrote, "I spotted that as well!"
One fan also noted, "I spy a ring on your finger 😏🥹." While others are still rooting for Charity as they say, "Girl please pick Dotun."
