The story of Duff and Koma's relationship is nothing short of a fairytale. Their journey began when they collaborated on Duff's 2015 album, 'Breathe In. Breathe Out.' Although there wasn't an instant spark, the actress described how their friendship blossomed during the creative process. After this, the couple went through a series of ups and downs before realizing that they were meant to be together. Duff explained, "We knew we just had to be together because we tried a bunch of times to be apart, and that didn't work out for either one of us."
'A baby girl is on the way!'

Despite previously stating that she didn't feel the "need to get married again," Duff and Koma got engaged, and exchanged vows in a small and low-key wedding in December 2019. The actress expressed her joy on Instagram, declaring the day they made promises to each other as the best of 2019. "The ceremony started at sunset and they got married inside the house. When the ceremony was over, guests cheered. The reception was in a white tent in the backyard," a source told People.
"Her sister, Haylie, was very involved in the wedding prep too. Hilary and Haylie are very close."

Thank you ba for loving me. I know that isn't always easy."
Koma continued. "Thank you for raising our very cute and very unstable three kids. Thank you for being so hot and letting me do things to the body. It's so sick." Shortly after, Duff posted her own carousel of images with Koma on Instagram. "Matthew. I love you so much. Happy 3 years! I don't know if you knew what you were getting into or that you weren't going to sleep or sit down for the next 5-10 years but I think for the most part you're pretty happy about it," she wrote. "Our life is so full and I'm over the top grateful for the guy that I got to do all this madness with."
