SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA: Popular online content creator Adonis Beck, popularly known as Pope the Barber, has died at the age of 34, a social media page has announced. The famous internet personality best known for his hair styling skills, was found dead on Friday morning, August 11 in San Diego.
The news of his death was broke out by a Twitter user @JosephMorrisYT. According to Sportskeeda News, he stated, "Famous TikTok star Pope The Barber has tragically passed away. Adonis Beckv was found dead inside a tent in San Diego on Friday morning and the body was identified on Thee Unidentified & Unsolved on Facebook. Rest in peace.”
How did Adonis Beck aka Pope the Barber die?
As reported by the outlet, Adonis was identified from his body inks after his death. The same was uploaded to the Namus database by an unidentified person. News outlet Ghsplash seemingly hinted that the artist had committed suicide.
They wrote, "Adonis Beck’s journey took a devastating turn, culminating in a heart wrenching act… The emotional toll of this separation is believed to have played a role in his tragic decision… Despite his vibrant online presence, Adonis Beck faced personal challenges that ultimately led him down a dark path.”
News of his death was also publicized on the Thee Unidentified & Unsolved Facebook page but the pictures have since been taken down.
Adonis Beck reportedly had issues with mental health
The California native was reportedly suffering from mental health-related issues following his separation from content creator and photographer Lisa who is also known as Lkbphotography. According to The Andy Lander Show, Beck was battling anxiety and depression after their breakup.
It was also reported that law enforcement was conducting an autopsy to find Adonis' cause of death. The publication went on to claim that his fanbase believes that he might have overdosed.
Adonis Beck's ex paid tribute on social media
Lisa took to her official Instagram account and shared a number of images and videos of them together following his tragic death. She penned while expressing her grief, "You were my best friend, my true love, my partner and my other half. Truly my missing puzzle piece. Life made sense with you."
She continued, "You changed millions of peoples lives with your bright light and love. You were unlike anyone I’ve ever met. The most amazing human. I’ll forever cherish our time together. I miss you and I love you”.
