Fans of Taylor Swift have written an open letter to the pop star asking her to distance herself from The 1975 frontman Matty Healy. Titled #SpeakUpNow, a play on Swift’s album Speak Now, set to be re-released July 7th, has sparked conversation from both sides on Twitter. The letter, first posted by account @SpeakUpNow_13, expressed ‘disappointment’ with Swift’s recent sightings with Healy. Healy has been spotted at multiple of Taylor’s shows as she embarks on a US tour, igniting dating rumours after Swift’s recent split from her ex-boyfriend Joe Alwyn. Sign up to our free Indy100 weekly newsletter Healy has faced multiple controversies for his actions in the past, accused of ‘engaging in racist remarks and making offensive jokes’ are some of the issues Swift’s fans, known as Swifties, have raised in the letter. They write: ‘your voice holds tremendous power and right now your silence is palpable,’ adding, ‘we urge you to reflect on the impact of your own and your associates’ behaviour.’ The original account has since be deleted following criticising from fans and others accusing the user of having a ‘parasocial relationship’ with the singer. A term often used to describe the relationship between fans and celebrities, who have no idea the fan exists. Some quoted previous statements made by Swift about having people ask invasive questions surrounding her personal life and accused the fan of crossing boundaries. Others said those sharing the hashtag are ‘chronically online’. Others rose to the defence of the letter, saying you’re allowed to hold someone accountable. One Taylor Swift fan account wrote it’s disappointing to see ‘a lot of hate and comments ridiculing this,’ adding, ‘it’s okay to love an artist and speak up when you are disappointed or disagree with them.’ Some fans announced they had cancelled their pre-orders of Swift’s latest re-release, saying they don’t feel comfortable giving her money whilst she supports Healy and remains silent on his controversies. People of colour have shared the hurt they feel from Swift’s association with Healy, who made comments on a podcast earlier in the year about watching porn that humiliated and dehumanised black women. Jamie Lynn Spears has left I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! on medical grounds, a show spokesperson said. In a statement from the show it said: “Jamie Lynn Spears has left I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! on medical grounds. She’s been a fantastic campmate who has triumphed at trials and bonded well with her fellow celebrities.” Spears, the sister of pop icon Britney Spears, had struggled since the beginning of the show, emotionally complaining about the lack of food on offer to the stars and also saying that she was missing her children. During Tuesday's episode, she told the Bush Telegraph: "I don’t get it... this is not okay, I wanna go home. I do not want to be here.” The 32-year-old added: " I quit, I don’t wanna do it. I do not wanna be there. I went to tell them [the producers] this is not fair. I quit. I don’t wanna do it, I don’t wanna be here, that’s so unfair that was torture. F*** this.” She becomes the second celebrity to leave the show following food critic Grace Dent who also left earlier this week on medical grounds. YouTuber Nella Rose was also treated by a medic but has since rejoined the camp. Fans of the show are now left fearing the consequences of Spears's departure from the show. This now leaves just 10 contestants left with many thinking that Nigel Farage could win if he manages to stick it out, while the rest of the campmates all drop out for various reasons. One person said: "At this rate the winner will be decided by them being the only one not to leave on medical grounds." Another added: "At this rate Nigel Farage only needs to stay ‘healthy’ in order to win!" A third wrote: "Has Nigel Farage decided the only way he can win is if he bumps off all the other contestants?" A fourth said: "At this rate maybe Nigel Farage will win by default." Sky News has been criticised by viewers for reporting the breaking news of Holly Willoughby's exit from ITV's This Morning live from a war zone, where they'd been covering the Israel-Hamas conflict. After presenting the daytime programme for 14 years, the 42-year-old posted a statement on her social media where announced she would not be returning to the show. Sky News presenter Mark Austin has been reporting live on the ground in Jerusalem about the Israel-Hamas conflict when coverage suddenly changed to the news on Willoughby leaving. “Let’s get some news away from here now,” Austin said, from on a hillside at night time with the landscape of the country's capital in the background. “Presenter Holly Willoughby has told ITV that she will not return to host This Morning." He added: “She has not returned to the show since a man was charged last week with an alleged plot to kidnap and murder her.” Then Sky News studio correspondent Shamaan Freeman-Powell also added more details to the coverage surrounding the TV presenter's departure. After this, viewers took to social media to criticise the broadcaster's choice of announcing this showbiz news from a war zone, calling it a "parody," "tasteless," and "utterly bizarre." In her farewell statement to the Willoughby wrote: "To everyone who has ever worked on the show over the years, thank you so so much. This is such a difficult goodbye, you are incredible and I forever will be proud of what we’ve done together. Thank you to everyone at ITV for being supportive. To every guest who has sat on our sofa, thank you." "Most of all, thank you to the wonderful viewers. You’ve been so loyal, so supportive and the very best company every day.
