There’s something charming about a cheesy Christmas movie – but Netflix users are really going in two-footed on the platform’s new festive film. Best. Christmas. Ever stars the likes of Brandy Norwood, Heather Graham, Jason Biggs and Matt Cedeño and has become one of the most popular films on the streaming service. As you might expect, it’s a tale of unlikely companions at Christmas time, with a pair of frenemies and their families brought together over the holidays by a “twist of fate”. Despite the film rising up through the ranks and becoming one of the most-watched films on Netflix, not everyone is a fan. The film has a rating of 33 per cent and some people took to social media to voice their criticism of the movie – with some calling it the “worst Christmas film ever”. Harsh. “On a scale of 1-10, the new Netflix movie ‘Best. Christmas. Ever!’ is the worst movie of all time #BestChristmasEver,” one slammed the film. “#BESTCHRISTMASEVER is probably my the worst Christmas movie I’ve seen in a long time…” another said. “Netflix’s new Christmas movie #BestChristmasEver is a dumpster fire,” another unhappy viewer wrote. Some, however, clearly absolutely loved it. One fan wrote: “#BestChristmasEver is the greatest Christmas movie of all time. You will laugh. You will cry. You will be confused at the plot changing every 10 seconds. Azealia Banks has hit out at Troye Sivan in a homophobic rant on social media, all because Sivan complimented her song ‘212’. Sivan was speaking as part of an interview with Spotify when he was asked what his go-to “pre game banger” was, and he said he was a fan of Banks’s 2012 hit. It seemed like Sivan was paying a harmless compliment to the track, but Banks didn’t respond as you might have expected. Instead, she hit out at Sivan and said he didn’t have a “clue” about her experiences in the music industry. “This is these white kids’ weird way of apologizing for bandwagoning. Having no clue of the kind of shit happening to me behind the scenes in the industry,” she wrote. Banks wasn’t finished there either, writing: “I’m not impressed by any of these people (who I’ve never met in person nor had a conversation with me) not having the audacity to be as public and loud with their apology as they were with using their platform to cast judgment as if a singular me was an important social justice issue. “I would REALLY appreciate all of these f*ckin civilian ass bitches to stop mentioning me, stop dancing to my s**t in the club if you’re not going to treat me like a human and take back all the unfounded bullshit you all used ur platforms to perpetuate.” It’s far from the first time Banks has faced criticism after going on a rant on social media, but the slamming of Sivan seemingly came out of knowhere. Things really took a turn when she called him a “peadophile”, too. “And your a late condescending expired Twink anyway b**ch. The speculation is true – Logan Paul has possession of the “best UFO footage ever”, or so he claims. It comes after documentary filmmaker James Fox spoke on The Joe Rogan Experience about a video rumoured to have been uncovered by UFO specialist Chuck Clark around 30 years ago. Fox claimed that the clip shows two men in the Nevada desert encountering a UFO, and he believes that if Paul released the footage it could be key to changing people’s perceptions about alien sightings. Now, Paul has stated that he does indeed have a copy of the video. He claimed that he tried to purchase the footage from Clark for $100,000. After the offer was turned down, he then used a hidden camera to record the footage after he was invited to a screening. It’s not. The people who shot it gave it to him and expected he would keep it hidden for himself. It’s not his footage. He is keeping what I thought at the time, important UFO, alien, extraterrestrial proof in his possession and not showing it. Like, why? I think that is doing a disservice to the world.
