Harry Styles broke the internet when photos emerged of his new buzzcut, and it provoked a mixed reaction in his fanbase - but now his mum has jumped to his defence. There have been a number of memes and comparisons that have circulated online in reaction to Styles shaving his head - for example his likeness being compared to Ian Beale from EastEnders. It's clear this attention hasn't unnoticed by the mother of the 'As It Was' singer, Anne Twist who took to Instagram to support her son and urged fans to TPWK [Treat People With Kindness] - which also a popular phase and song from Styles. In an Instagram post, Twist wrote: “When you consider that H has a legacy of kindness and inclusion, has always made every effort to make everyone feel seen and appreciated for exactly who they are... there’s an irony in the negativity he’s been shown for having a haircut." “Sorry but I don’t get it," she added. The post included a clear snap of Styles with his shaved head, followed by a screenshot of a New York Post headline that reads: "Harry Styles fans shocked over shaved head reveal: ‘Ruined my entire life’." “Let’s uncrap that,” Twist’s image reads, as underneath the headline is changed to “Breaking news: It’s hair! It’s his! Also it will grow back. If he wants.” Since sharing the post to her 2.6m followers, fans of Styles have shared their support in the comments. One person said: "Love it, any mom would feel the same. Such a talented young man, Harry has it all! Move forward with pride, ignore the negative!" "Fr it's just hair, chill people. He's on a break! Let him chill," another person agreed. Someone else added: "Why judge him just for a haircut? It’s his life, his hair, his decision. The Duke of York, Prince Andrew was mocked in front of 81,000 people at Wembley Stadium on Sunday evening at All Elite Wrestling's record-breaking 'All In' event. 81,035 people attended the show at Wembley making it the largest paid attendance for a wrestling show in history with only two shows held in 1995 in North Korea trumping it in terms of overall attendance. The show was headlined by a world championship match between Adam Cole and Maxwell Jacob Friedman but the match before that saw the House of Black defend their Trios Championship against The Acclaimed and 'Bad Ass' Billy Gunn. For those that aren't aware The Acclaimed often rap their way to the ring with team member Max Caster usually dropping a topical reference or dropping an acknowledgement to the city they are in at the time. As they were in London for the first time there were several jabs at the Royal Family most notably Prince Andrew all aimed in the direction of the House of Black. Caster began the rap by saying: "Acclaimed on the mic/ there is nothing that we can't do/ these guys are a bigger disgrace than Prince Andrew." The rest of the rap continued with a subtle dig at Meghan Markle and a reference to Harry Potter. Luckily for The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn the dig at the Royal Family wasn't in gest as they were able to defeat the House of Black and capture their first Trios Championships. Meanwhile, the senior Royals including Andrew all reported gathered at Balmoral on Sunday for the first time since the Queen's death on September 8th last year. Lenny Rush, the Bafta-winning child actor, is set to make history as the first child presenter of the BBC’s charity fundraiser for Children in Need on Friday night. Rush, 14, who has a form of dwarfism known as Spondyloepiphyseal Dysplasia congenita (Harry Potter actor Warwick Davis has the same condition), started off his acting career with a number of appearances in children’s television, including CBeebies series Apple Tree House and CBBC’s Dodger and The Dumping Ground – the latter of which is an expansion of the Tracy Beaker franchise. He's also worked on a few productions by writer Jack Thorne, including on his retelling of A Christmas Carol at London’s Old Vic Theatre and his BBC series Best Interests. Rush is an award winner, too, having won the gong for best male comedy performance in Daisy May Cooper’s Am I Being Unreasonable?. As for future roles, he’s set to appear alongside 15th Doctor and Sex Education star Ncuti Gatwa in the next series of Doctor Who, playing the character of Morris once David Tennant’s 60th anniversary specials are out of the way. Speaking of Doctor Who, a special ‘minisode’ of the fantasy series will air during Friday’s TV event, starring Tennant who has returned to the fan favourite programme as the Fourteenth Doctor. Rush will co-present Children in Need alongside sports personalities Ade Adepitan and Alex Scott, and comedians Mel Giedroyc, Jason Manford and Chris Ramsey. The teenager said of the presenting role: “It’s an honour and a thrill to be the first child presenter for Children in Need. I can’t wait to feel the buzz of a live show and to help raise money for children and young people across the UK facing disadvantages. “I’m so excited.” Children in Need will be broadcast live from Salford and gets underway from 7pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
