LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Horror fans gather! We have some great news for you. After being delayed for more than eight years, 'Five Nights at Freddy’s' is finally coming to the silver screens. Universal was the one to pull the curtains back for the Blumhouse horror movie and released a teaser trailer. The teaser brought out some great reactions from the fans and got them quite thrilled about their favorite video game being turned into a live-action movie.
The movie is based on the video game franchise created by Scott Cawthon, which released its first entry in 2014 and quickly rocketed to massive popularity. Throughout the different levels of the game, players are set on a survival mission to save themselves from the horrors of murderous animatronic characters inside the horror-induced Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza restaurant. The only way to save themselves is for the players to use the security cameras, lights, and doors to survey the area.

'It’s looking amazing'
Fans were quite thrilled to know that their favorite horror game is getting a live-action twist. One user wrote with a keen eye for details and said, "It’s looking amazing. Just either fix the red eyes or not use them the whole movie. They are kinda trash." Another user chimed in with, "I can’t breathe." One user couldn't hold their excitement and wrote, "SO HYPED DAWG." Another fan came in barging with excitement and wrote, "This is either gonna be a great trilogy or an awful one."
'Movie of the year'
While fans are excited about the new live-action film, they are anticipating a movie that is going to much scarier than the horror game. One fan wrote, "People think this is scary??" Another user chimed in with, "My Most anticipated Horror Film of the Year." One user wrote, "Movie of the year idk what to tell y’all." While one user gave some insights on creating a great horror movie and wrote, "Don't do red eyes, don't do angry expressive eyebrows. The scary part is where they're not *supposed* to be scary." Directed by Emma Tammi, 'Five Nights at Freddy's' stars Josh Hutcherson, Elizabeth Lail, Piper Rubio, Kat Conner Sterling, Mary Stuart Masterson, and Matthew Lillard in the lead. The animatronic designs and technology are created by Jim Henson’s Creature Shop. The movie is all set to step foot in your nearest theatres on October 27, 2023.
