BUCHAREST, ROMANIA: Tristan Tate, who is currently on house arrest alongside his brother, Andrew Tate, has been noticeably active on Twitter, using the platform to express his opinions. In his latest tweet, he took the opportunity to criticize the Miss San Francisco pageant and voiced his doubts regarding the prevailing body positivity movement in today's society.
Since their release from prison, Tristan and his brother Andrew have been highly engaging with their audience. Unfortunately, Tristan, much like his brother Andrew, has gained notoriety for promoting alleged misogynistic perspectives among his followers.
'Bring back attractive models'
Tristan, the younger sibling of Andrew Tate, recently shared his thoughts on the Miss San Francisco pageant that took place on June 6. Monroe Lace made history as the first trans woman to be crowned Miss San Francisco in the pageant's nearly century-long history. However, Tristan's commentary focused on the reactions of the other contestants who didn't win.
Tristan made observations about the reactions of the other contestants, noting their alleged visible distress when a trans woman was chosen as the winner. He tweeted, "Judging by the background girls the “body positivity” and “ugly model” movement has gone so far that maybe this dude was genuinely more attractive? Bring back attractive models."
'People come in all shapes and sizes, so why shouldn't models?'
Following Tate's criticism of the prevailing beauty standards used in pageants, numerous users took the opportunity to share their own perspectives on the matter. One user wrote, "The extent to which people will go to push an agenda. Ridiculous." Another user wrote, "Just because you don't find someone attractive, don't mean that others will share your opinion. People come in all shapes and sizes, so why shouldn't models? Representation is important." Another user came forth and wrote, "Prolly won just for political correctness for the so called “acceptance” of minority groups. That’s literally a man, ain’t no minority lmao."
