AUSTIN, TEXAS: Joe Rogan's eponymous podcast usually features a variety of guests and discussions on a wide range of topics. He once invited YouTube's king, MrBeast, and during the conversation, he revealed how he came to know about the content creator.
In recent years, Rogan's podcasts have become one of the most popular series of all time, with guests from all walks of life sharing their life stories. Despite hosting the majority of the internet's biggest stars, MrBeast's debut on the show in March 2022 received widespread attention from viewers worldwide.
'My 11-year-old is f**king obsessed'
The two discussed a wide range of topics, including impending changes to the YouTuber's material and much more. Rogan informed MrBeast that he had never heard of him until his daughter showed him his videos. Rogan remarked, "I told you my 11-year-old is f**king obsessed with your show. Obsessed!"
He added, "We were in a hotel in Vegas, I was there for the UFC and she was watching YouTube. I asked 'What you're watching?' And she was like 'Oh my God it's MrBeast' and she was so into the show and then I watched it and I was like wow it's really entertaining. Fun stuff man."
MrBeast discussed his YouTube ascent from a shy child to a successful content creator during his appearance on 'JRE'. The podcast was published on various social media platforms, attracting reactions from viewers worldwide. MrBeast's involvement on the show allowed him to reach a larger audience and progress in his YouTube adventure.
'I had a lot of fun'
Six months after his appearance on 'JRE', MrBeast described how he ended up on Rogan's show during his appearance on NELK Boys' 'FULL SEND' podcast, where he also spoke about his next YouTube video concept and plans for Feastables and Beast Burger. But it was his comments on Rogan's podcast that piqued viewers' interest the most.
"I think I just shot him a DM on Instagram and then he was like yeah, f*ck yeah, let's do it. He was really cool. Really down to earth, I had a lot of fun," MrBeast explained. Furthermore, the YouTube sensation went on to highlight Rogan's fame and how popular his podcast has gotten in recent years. "He's almost like a dad," the YouTuber said.
"It sounds weird today but that’s exactly how I would put it. I like how he just, you know, objectively wants to learn. That Joe Rogan podcast was f**king crazy for us. Obviously, we all know Joe Rogan is big but I didn’t realize how big he was. Afterwards, when I go into Walmart and these old dudes would be like ‘holy s**t, you were on Rogan," MrBeast stated.
