BUCHAREST, ROMANIA: Andrew Tate recently spoke to Tucker Carlson about his experience in the Romanian prison. The influencer was arrested for charges of human trafficking.
During the two-hour long interview, Tate spoke about various things from being arrested to depression and he also spoke about how porn had become a pandemic in recent times.
'I have got people to pay'
When Carlson asked Tate about what he did in jail, the influencer said that it was probably the toughest 92 days of his life as he was not sure for how many days he was going to be there inside the cell.
“I stared at the wall, smoked cigarettes, did lots of push ups and read the Quran. Tried my best to get out and made sure people who I love are being taken care of. There are a lot of people who rely on me. I have got people to pay,” he said, adding, “I was trying my best to make sure everybody I love are fine. I wasn’t as powerful as I should have been and that was very upsetting especially if they are going to keep you there for years. However, I was always doing something constructive.”
He added that he tried very hard to make other people smile and keep them happy. Some of the prison guards were open while others were ice cold.
‘We should all give Putin credit for curing Covid’
Tate thanked Russian President Vladimir Putin, stating, “We should all give Putin credit for curing Covid. When his invasion happened, Covid went away.” Tate had mentioned this viewpoint earlier in response to a tweet that questioned the reason the Covid situation had improved. He responded by joking that the Russia-Ukraine War had taken over the news cycle and that the Russian President had "cured Covid" as a result of his activities.
