BUCHAREST, ROMANIA: Andrew Tate's recent controversial statement on X (formerly Twitter) has sparked significant debate as he expressed problematic views on women, suggesting that those who live in reality share characteristics typically associated with men.
This isn't the first time that the self-proclaimed misogynist has faced criticism from the online community, as the former kickboxer is known to insinuate people with his provocative statements.
Andrew Tate asserts women who live in reality are 'annoying' because they're 'basically men'
Andrew Tate, who advocates for traditional gender roles and asserts that a woman's primary role is to ensure her partner's happiness, took to X (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday, September 12, to write, "Females live in a fantasy land. It’s annoying. But the ones who live in reality are even more annoying, because they’re basically men."
He continued, "Masculinity is reality. Female dream worlds, although completely incorrect, retain innocence and purity."
Tate expressed through his post that women tend to live in a fantasy world, which he found irritating. However, he also commented that women who are grounded in reality can be even more bothersome to him, as he perceives them as having characteristics akin to those of men.
The former kickboxer went on to elaborate that he views masculinity as synonymous with reality. He also acknowledged that while he believes female dream worlds to be inaccurate, he perceives them as retaining a sense of innocence and purity.
Andrew Tate's post rages debate on the Internet
Like most other instances, when Andrew Tate made the post about finding women who prioritize reality over imagination and dream worlds more bothersome, numerous Internet users took to the platform to share their perspectives.
One wrote, "WHAT ARE YOU EVEN SAYING." Another said, "He hates females lol 🤣."
A user inquired, "Why are you anti-feminist?" while another commented, "Talking sense, May be for the first time. Females who live in reaity, rely upon cunning methods to get what they want. Females who live in fantasy land depend upon hard work and God’s blessings. They’re mostly untouched by world’s evils."
An admirer wrote, "Women live in the world of transient emotions, denying logic and facts, responsibility and accountability, because their world often lacks consequences."
"Maybe if you've got money it's fun in fantasy land, but with my wallet, I prefer a woman in the real world. I think you are on to something, though," remarked another commenter.
