What did Amy Schumer say about Nicole Kidman?
Amy Schumer, while clarifying her ‘joke’ on Nicole, wrote on Friday, September 15, “Okay, so the joke I was making was the way she was posed didn’t seem like how a human sits," according to PageSix.
“I was not making fun of how she looks. Nicole Kidman is beautiful and one of the most incredible actors of all the time.”
“I hope everyone is okay and takes a deep breath including all of the think pieces written on this. You guys good?” she wrote while being a bit sarcastic.
Amy pointed out there's lot to cover other than her on the news
She continued, “To all of the people who commented on me, I’m so sorry I’m not prettier. Please forgive me,” the 'I Feel Pretty' star continued.
“I apologize. It wasn’t even a slow news day. North Korea and Russia are getting too close for comfort. There are deadly storms sweeping our world and a man was convicted of rape,” continued the 42-year-old.
Amy then went on to say, “Breathe y’all” before adding that she forgives the people who have written “hateful things” on her page because she, too, “likes hot goss[ip].”
Her now-deleted post of Nicole Kidman read, “This how human sit,” implying her ‘unnatural posture.’
Fans reacted strongly with one commenting, “Bringing others down is always a sign of our own internal insecurities anyway, so the critics here should hold a mirror."
Another user simply questioned, “Are you cyberbullying Oscar and Emmy winner Nicole Kidman right now?”
"If Schumer thinks she's the true standard of beauty, then all us guys are peak Adonis," wrote one.
A user slammed the comeidan with a comment, "Mediocrity is an achievement for mediocre people."
"Why do ppl @amyschumer think it’s okay to say whatever they want out of sausage hole!? When backlash comes then remorseful and want to offer phony azz apology! Hey Amy! Next time keep your sausage hole shut!," one commented.
A user brought 'Barbie' while commenting, "To think they thought Schumer could pull off being 'Barbie' in the 'Barbie' movie. Sorry, if you lost your lunch thinking about it."
