LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: ‘Good Morning America’ weatherman Rob Marciano has finally sprung to life on Instagram after a brief hiatus from the social media platform. The 55-year-old posted a cute clip of him and his kids on a camping trip at an unknown location. This post came as a pleasant surprise for all ‘GMA’ fans who aren’t used to hearing or witnessing any major updates from Rob.
The ‘GMA’ weather man last posted a short post on July 4, celebrating the American Independence Day, and since then, his Instagram was dormant. But Rob has returned with an adoring video showing him enjoying the outdoors with his daughter Madelyn, 11, and son Mason, five. The ‘GMA’ star seemed to be in high spirits spending time with his children.
Rob Marciano’s camping adventure with his kids
Rob loves to spend time with his kids and leaves no chance to share special moments with his kids on social media. And even this time, the ‘GMA’ weatherman didn’t hesitate to share the moments of a recent camping trip that he took with his kids. The video showed the newly-divorced father posing with his kids to show off the tent they had pitched. Other pictures showed a frog Madelyn had caught, Mason reading a newspaper, and a flashlight blaring through a water bottle to give the family adequate lighting at night.
In the clip, the kids were also seen cooking hotdogs and s'mores over a firepit, as well as playing around in their tent. Rob later captioned the post, "Hot dogs, hikes, and s’mores …summer #dadcamp is in session.” The camping session came as a much-needed relief to Rob who has recently come off a divorce with ex-wife Eryn. The ABC weatherman had endured a tough time since last year and was also missing from all the action, citing personal problems. But the recent camping trip with his kids has surely put a smile on the face of the fans who can’t help but praise Rob for his fatherly skills.
'I wish all dads were like you’
Fans flocked to the comment section on the post to rave about Rob’s duties as a father. One fan wrote, “Believe me they are going to remember all those beautiful memories!! Awesome Rob,” while a second said, “Amazing dad. Great job making memories. They will talk about it forever.” A third mentioned, “I wish all dads were like you! #awesome dad!!!” while a fourth swooped in with, “The best memories. Hot dogs taste so much better when camping. Great job, Dad.” A fifth praised his son and said, “Love your son reading the newspaper!!! Oh kids will be kids, especially on a camping trip...” while another stated, “Love the flashlight-water bottle idea!”
