NEWPORT BEACH, LOS ANGELES: Meghan King has stated that she will no longer post images of her children on social media after they were reportedly used against her as an "intimidation tactic" as her 2023 goal. Fans were quick to point out her hypocrisy when she recently opted to post a picture of her niece without hiding the baby's face.
Meghan has set some new year's resolutions. 'The Real Housewives of Orange County' star took to Instagram earlier this year to inform her fans that she will no longer be revealing her children's faces online. Meghan sent a link to her website, which includes a blog entry that explains why she took this decision. She begins her post by declaring 2023 to be "the year of Meghan," and then goes on to explain how she intends to improve things. The 38-year-old went on to say that her children were being used as an "intimidation tactic" and that she will no longer put up with it. The Bravolebrity also stated that she wants her children to decide if they want to be in the "limelight" for themselves. The mom of three has officially put her foot down as a result of all of this.

Meghan shares picture with 1-year-old niece
On June 25, 2023, Meghan took to Instagram to share some snaps with her niece to commemorate her first birthday. Unlike her other posts, where Meghan strategically puts emojis over her children's faces, the post didn't have her niece's face hidden. In the caption, she wrote, "Happy first birthday to my gorgeous baby niece, Pierce King Rhodes. I love you baby girl! Aunt Meggie will always have your back ♥️."
The first picture showed Meghan holding her niece inside a kitchen gathered by her family, while the next photo shows the birthday girl sitting on a high chair with a party hat on surrounded by lovely balloons.
Meghan received both love and criticism as she announced her choice not to expose the faces of her children. One person even wondered if her ex Jim Edmonds would continue to share photos of their children online as he and his wife Kortnie O'Connor did at the end of 2022, prompting the former 'RHOC' star to seemingly call Kortnie out on her Instagram Story by saying that "no one but immediate family has [her] permission" to post images of her children online.
'Damn, don't post your kids but u will post other peoples kids'
Meghan's followers were quick to criticize the Bravo celeb as they react to the Instagram post, "Why do you post this picture of this child on social media but not yours 😮." While another chimed in, "Love how you have no problem showing other people children faces!!" A third user wrote, "Damn, don't post your kids but u will post other peoples kids. . Wtf." Another user added, "We were all thinking it lol."
One user noted, "Every family has different perspectives. It becomes a focus once you make rules for yourself." Reacting to the whole rule imposed by Meghan in the first place one angry user commented, "He? Has. No right to tell? You. You can't film with your baby who the h*** does he think he is?"
