LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson’s obsession with gym not only reflects in his incredible physique but sometimes others also have to face its consequences. The professional wrestler-turned-actor was so determined to get his workout done that he hopped out of his flight and went straight to an Equinox gym in Aventura, Florida. It sounds normal right but the thing was he arrived just 30 minutes before its closing time and rushed through all the usual check-in processes to make sure he makes most of the time left at hand.
It is said that he arrived at the facility with an entourage of two, and that the “front desk team was noticeably shaken by the visitors and had to address them,” a source said. It added that the staff was intimidated by his looks and one couldn't hide his surprise, “But he’s so big.” Dwayne later apologized for his rude behavior and explained himself that ‘he’d just gotten off a long flight and really had to get a good workout in.’
Why Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson is addicted to workout?
Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson is really disciplined when it comes to fitness and muscle and despite tough challenges, he continues to stay focused. In an interview, he talked about how much goes into the process.
He said, “Any athlete or any actor who’s preparing for a long time to step on a stage or step on a field or step on a movie set, who suffers an injury right before you’re getting ready to perform or to execute–it is a massive challenge that’s thrown your way that you didn’t expect. I wound up tearing my rectus tendon from my pelvis I also tore my adductor from my pelvis, then had a triple hernia as well.”
Lenny Kravitz at Equinox!
Equinox gym recently also witnessed an unusual visitor in artist Lenny Kravitz. The Grammy Award winner was at its Hudson Yards location in New York. He checked in with his unique choice of gym outfit, a Chrome Hearts tracksuit, sunglasses, and black biker boots! reports Page Six.
A source said,” He was really working out and… strength training.” He later changed his footwear into white sneakers and spent time in the gym’s lounge. “He was very friendly and talked to everyone who said hello to him. He declined photos, but he was very friendly and very nice,” the source said at the time.
