CLEVELAND, OHIO: After six WWE Superstars qualified for the Men's Money in the Bank ladder match, Logan Paul took to the ring on the most recent edition of 'RAW' to announce that he has been added as the seventh competitor.
The other players in the competition were not happy with this and it ended in a large altercation among the seven guys. Paul stood proud as the 'RAW' segment came to a close and many feared that the Money in the Bank briefcase would be his. Ricochet, though, seems determined to prevent this from happening.
‘I'll make sure this NEVER happens’
Ricochet used social media to refute rumors that The Maverick would win the Money in the Bank ladder match next weekend. He even threatened to stop Paul from winning the event, tweeting out, “I'll make sure this NEVER happens.”
Fans were very supportive of his tweet, with one commenting, “LP is great for pulling in more under 15 year old viewers, putting the strap on him however will do NOTHING,” while another said, “Take him out, king. You’re the only one in the match with a proven track record of success when it comes to shutting down Logan’s offense. Neutralize the threat. Save us all. Only you can.” Another fan commented, “I really wanna see you vs Logan Paul, one on one at SummerSlam. There's no way that match wouldn't bang,” and someone else said, “Looks like someone wants payback from what happened at Royal Rumble this year.”
When Ricochet praised Logan Paul
WWE fans will never forget the 'Royal Rumble' match from January 2023 when Ricochet and Paul crashed midair. In an exclusive conversation with Digital Spy, Ricochet discussed the incident before this year's Money In The Bank event in London.
In the conversation, Ricochet said, “It's funny, I never have the initial thought of, 'do this specific thing for like, a highlight'. I try to just do what I think is going to make Ricochet be remembered the most. That moment at Royal Rumble with Logan Paul is something that I don't think will ever happen again.”
Some fans may have been dubious or even laughed when WWE first introduced Paul, but the YouTuber has constantly dazzled every time he entered the ring, quickly putting any skeptics to rest.
