ATLANTA, GEORGIA: A dramatic police bodycam footage showed Kim Zolciak sobbing over her "aggressive" husband Kroy Biermann weeks before they reconciled. In the video filmed in the couple's Georgia home, the 'Real Housewives of Atlanta' star is seen telling the police that her husband was "f*****g crazy."
The 45-year-old continued telling the dispatcher that she nearly called them "a dozen times before" as Biermann stole her car keys and locked her out of their house. Zolciak's friend claimed on the phone that the former football player had been "aggressive," "ugly" and "following her around" when she moved to the basement bedroom.
Why did Zolciak call police on Biermann?
Zolciak claimed she had a bathroom dispute with her former estranged husband that evening. "I deserve to be in this bathroom, [but] he was like, ‘Get out, get out, I want to take a shower,’ but he locked me out, and I can’t get back in,” Zolciak said, according to the video obtained by Radar Online.
The former Bravolebrity who stood in her kitchen in a bathrobe accused her 37-year-old husband of "screaming in my face." She claimed that she placed "a chair on the [basement] door with a lock and he f*****g took cutters or something" to get in. "Something’s wrong with his mind. Something’s not right," said Zolciak. She also stated that she "had enough" and could not "keep doing this all my life."
Zolciak alleged Biermann is 'physically and verbally abusive'
The footage captured on May 4 showed Zolciak telling the police officers that the retired athlete has firearms locked up in the safe and claimed "He’s physically and verbally abusive." She further told them that "It’s just insane, I don’t know what you guys can do. I hate to bother you and I’m so sorry, but it is getting crazy and out of hand.…he’s mentally ill ma’am."
Responding to the incident, the footage also showed Biermann talking to the police outside his house. "I might have raised my voice," the ex-linebacker admitted. "I’ve asked her to kindly leave our bedroom so I could shower in privacy because I don’t trust her. She’s refusing to leave. She’s a narcissist so she’s playing her games," he said and called her sobbing a "manipulation" tactic.
Zolciak and Biermann who share three children KJ, 12, Kash, 10, and twins Kane and Kaia, nine, said their "children were sleeping" at the time. He has also adopted the television personality's daughters Ariana, 21, and Brielle, 26, from previous relationships.
Zolciak and Biermann withdrew their divorce filing
Despite several issues in their relationship, including financial woes, the couple called off their split and withdrew their divorce filings. "Kim and Kroy’s inner circle has been encouraging them to work through their issues. Their friends are optimistic that they’ll be able to really make it work, not just for their children but because there is still a genuine love between them," said an insider.
