TAIPEI, TAIWAN: 'America's Got Talent' Season 18 will soon wrap up its round 1 of auditions. However, the latest season's ninth and final audition will feature some of the most intriguing and comedic acts that surely will make it tough for the judges to decide whom to advance to the next round.
While the judges Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum, Simon Cowell, and Sofia Vergara have already used their buzzers, the 'group' golden buzzer is still left. However, among the contenders vying to advance to the next round and for the whopping prize is Taiwan's native, Titos Tsai.
Who is Titos Tsai?
Titos belongs to Taipei, Taiwan, raised by a single-parent family. Titos's mother always wanted him to complete college, but he couldn't concentrate on studying. Titos wanted to become a fire dancer, so he dropped out of school. However, Titos didn't receive support from his mother, so he left home and became a street performer. Titos had struggled a lot during his initial days. As he wasn't getting any money from his street performance, Titos' friends used to help him. They lend him money to eat and in return, Titos deliver a special performance for them. However, Titos' life changed when a director from China recognized his talent and invited him to perform on a Chinese talent show which has a similar format to Got Talent franchise. Notably, Titos made it to the finale of the show. With his professional fire dancing skills, he bagged many Taiwanese competition championships and represented Taiwan in international art festivals. He also performs dances that involve fire torches in which he has won street performing championships. However, Titos wanted to try something new and began sword dancing in 2019. His surprising sword manipulation act earned him a bronze medal and the Prix Cirque Du Soleil trophy in 'du Cirque de Demain', a major circus world competition held in Paris, France. He currently has 250K followers on Tik Tok, and a sword dance challenge he attempted that involved rolling a sword while dancing received 12 million views and 2.5 million likes.
