HOLLYWOOD, CALIFORNIA: Olivia Minogue joining team Niall Horan was inevitable when she appeared on 'The Voice' Season 24 wearing the singer's necklace.
Even though Niall wanted to emphasize Olivia's rasp and bluesy tones more, Gwen Stefani offered some alternative advice for the aspiring musician.
Olivia's lovely, burnished voice encouraged John Legend to press the buzzer first. The Lockport, Illinois native performed Sam Smith's 'Lay Me Down' with a poetic, distinct tone.
Right after John, Niall Horan turned his chair, followed by Reba McEntire.
Niall who seemed overjoyed for the artist, stood up during her performance.
"Get this, 10 years ago today is the first time I saw you in concert," Olivia exclaimed.
Niall referred to Sam Smith as a "good friend" and stated that he would be "very, very happy with that version." Niall also made a joke about One Direction merchandise.
Turning things a bit heated, Olivia also admitted to possessing his singing toothbrush. However, Olivia ultimately chose Niall.

Niall expressed his desire to coach her since she was "phenomenal."
However, it seemed like Gwen took a subtle jab at Niall as she advised Olivia to stay focused and "keep her eye on the prize."
