GREECE, ATHENS: Although Matt Damon hasn't recently been in an action film, he still looks the part! The Oscar winner flaunted his strong figure on Friday, June 30, while vacationing in Greece. Matt was seen cuddling up to his stunning wife, Luciana Barroso, while lounging poolside with his chiseled biceps in full view.
The native of Argentina, Barroso, looked stunning in a pink checkered bikini and a matching bucket hat soaking in the sun. While sporting black board shorts, a silver necklace around his neck, and stylish aviator sunglasses, Damon remained close to his wife, as reported by Hollywoodlife. The duo looked to be having a serious talk in a few pictures before breaking into broad smiles as they sat at the poolside. The picture-perfect couple undoubtedly took over the lovely island of Mykonos.
Who is Luciana Barroso?
Barroso and Damon have happily been married for nearly 20 years. Like every other couple, Barroso and Damon have a meet-cute story too! The two hit it off right away after Damon met Barroso in 2003 at a bar where she was employed. When Barroso met Damon, she was a single mother, raising her daughter, Alexia, on her own. Two years later, they got married and welcomed three daughters: Isabella, 16, Gia, 14, and Stella, 12.
Barroso was married to a businessman, Arbello Barroso, with whom she has a daughter, Alexia, 24. According to reports, Alexia also accepted Damon as her stepfather. The creative mind behind the development of the atomic bomb, J Robert Oppenheimer, is portrayed by Cillian Murphy in the visionary Christopher Nolan's biographical drama.
Matt will bring to life Leslie Groves Jr, a complex historical figure who commanded the Manhattan Project, a top-secret research project that resulted in the atomic bomb during World War II. The ensemble is completed by Emily Blunt and real-life German American scientist and botanist Kitty Oppenheimer, who was married to J Robert until his death in 1967.
