On the Wednesday, July 26 episode, the co-hosts Al Roker and Craig Melvin were spotted taking a hit at each other on live TV. Roker is known for frequently slamming his fellow hosts with playful teases and snarky comments. Earlier last week, Roker had mocked Dylan Dreyer during an Instagram Live session by calling the latter a "cheapster" as she headed off to her vacation in Italy. So, it seems like Melvin was waiting for the right opportunity to give it back to Roker.

However, a glitch occurred when Ellwood was talking about the indoor water park at the Showboat Hotel in Atlantic City, New Jersey, as instead of showing the actual water park, producers mistakenly played a clip of someone jet-skiing on the ocean, leading to a snarky remark from Roker. He quickly picked up on the mistake and sarcastically jabbed, "That’s a huge water park," to which Melvin responded, "Shut up."
