LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jada Star Roberts, who appeared on the show as 'Jane', might have poured herself a cup of aspiration before entering the 'Claim to Fame' residence. But on Monday, July 10, legendary singer-songwriter Dolly Parton's niece faced elimination.
Jane was revealed to be the guesser in the July 10 episode of 'Claim To Fame' and she picked another contestant Chris as her target. She was sure he was related to Elvis Presley due to plenty of evidence. In an unexpected turn of events, Jane got it wrong and was forced to reveal which famous relative she was related to: Jada Star is the niece of the legendary 'Jolene' songstress, as per USA Today.
Who is Dolly Parton's niece, Jada Star?
Like her aunt, Jada is also a singer-songwriter by profession. Jada along with her best friend/musical partner Barry J are regarded as a singer/songwriting duo from the beautiful Smoky Mountains. Their music has been likened to a blend of Fleetwood Mac and Sugarland. 'Long Way Home,' their self-penned debut album, is available in-store and on Spotify, iTunes, Google Music, and Amazon Music.
Jada is married to Bryan Roberts. In May 2023, the pair marked their 11th wedding anniversary. Jada released her debut solo track, 'Keeper Of My Heart,' which is available on Spotify, Apple Music, among other platforms. She is also "excited" to debut her "first solo project." Also, Jada and Franklin Jonas worked together on a "really fun" song that Jada created for the co-host of 'Claim to Fame.'

On 'Claim to Fame,' Dolly left a heartfelt message for her niece. Jada remarked that her adored aunt "exactly" matches her appearance. "I see that she is this celestial being of light and love and just what it does for people. She’s always that. She’s always been that, whether it’s on this global scale with you guys or whether it’s sitting with me when I was little and letting me try on her shoes," Jada gushed to Hollywood Life, adding, "She’s the most wonderful person."
Jada added that Dolly motivates her in "every way possible." She explained, "She’s very much a mother figure to me and other people in my family too, so I’m not trying to take any of the credit. She loves all of us the same. She is a mother figure. She’s the best aunt you could possibly have to run to. She is your biggest cheerleader. She is a person that will 100% call you onto the carpet when you’re not acting right. The worst thing in the world is when Dolly Parton is like, I’m not mad, I’m just disappointed."

Jada has continued her aunt's journey in the music industry. She is a gifted lyricist and singer. With Barry J as her musical companion, Jada spent several years working in Dollywood. According to Jada, Dolly has been "really supportive and so kind and so encouraging. She’s always got the best advice. She just tells you to write what I feel and what I’ve experienced, and that’s what I do."
After Jada's elimination from the ABC show, Dolly made a video appearance and addressed Jada. The legendary country singer greeted everyone and said, "I am Dolly Parton and this is my niece, Jada Star. Hey Jada, I am so proud of you. It's been a joy watching you grow up. You know how much I've loved you and how close we've always been, being your aunt and all. So proud of you, girl."
