After maintaining a friendship for 16 years, the 89-year-old singer and the 60-year-old marketing executive decided to make their bond official.
Reflecting on the momentous occasion at the Westgate Hotel, Valli expressed his joy, stating, "It's terrific to have found love once again at this stage of my life," as told to PEOPLE. Opting for an intimate affair, the couple said their wedding vows surrounded by the pure serenity of an empty guest list. Reportedly, the singer's hit track 'Can't Take My Eyes Off Of You' played in the background while they were getting married. Mary Mandel
Valli's first marriage was to Mary Mandel, also known as Mary Delgado. They were married from 1957 to 1971. When they met, Mandel already had a 2-year-old daughter named Celia. Over the course of their marriage, the couple welcomed two daughters, Antonia and Francine. Tragically, the family experienced profound loss when Celia died after falling off a fire escape in 1980.
