GREENSBORO, NORTH CAROLINA: Whitney Way Thore recently dealt with the heartbreaking death of her mother Babs Thore due to multiple hemorrhagic strokes. It was hard for 'My Big Fat Fabulous Life' life to bring her and her father's life back on track after the tragedy.
But Whitney managed to take control of every possible thing. She became more and more present in her father's life while struggling with her own problems. However, it seems that there are still a lot of haters on the internet who bully Whitney by making fun of her late mother.
TLC star uploaded a series of screenshots on her Instagram account alongside a long note, asking haters to stop making a "big joke" of her mom.
Whitney Way Thore's dad concerned about online hate
Whitney shared a screenshot on her recent Instagram post of her father texting her and worrying about online hate. He was referring to the comments they received while filming Bab's funeral.
There were comments like, "I bet Babs is pissed." Another wrote, "Do ya think Babs hates her daughter as much as we do?.... Probably!"
A user claimed, "God she will do ANYTHIBG for attention!!" "I can't believe Sh*t Whit forced her dad into this for her own selfish gain," commented another user.
Whitney then added her father's message that cleared it was not her decision to film her mother's funeral. Glenn's message read, "I've read some of the comments that are critical of us allowing Babs funeral to be filmed."
Whitney's father added, "When I was making the decision to allow her funeral to be filmed I thought about people like Princess Diana or more recently the Queen of England whose family felt that having their love one shared with an adoring public was the reason to put their privacy aside."
Whitney replied to her father, "Of course that's why we did. You made the right decision." She went to ask her father to not read the message, calling it "heinous."
Whitney Way Thore slams haters
Whitney went to the caption of her post, claiming, "I know a lot of people hate me, and I don’t care why." The reality star is said to have developed health because of "stalkers, vandals, death threats, and harassment online."
This also led her to develop severe anxiety over the past decade. But this time, when Whitney received the hatred, she asked the trolls to think twice.
"However much you need the hate that you feel toward me to keep you busy, or entertain you, or distract you from your own sh*tty life, PLEASE remember, just for this one instance, that you’re talking about my dead mother and there is a family who reads this. There are humans who are grieving who read this," asked Whitney to her haters.
Whitney understands that her life might be a big joke to many, but the star asked trolls to think twice about her "poor father" before making any comments. She ended her post, saying, "I’m asking you, just this once, to think about my father and my family. He doesn’t deserve to read these things."
