FIJI, OCEANIA: Peacock's hit dating reality show, 'Love Island USA', is back with Season 5. This time too a group of men and women participate in a series of tasks with their partner. The partners keep changing until the individuals feel like they have found their perfect match. The couple that stays until the end becomes the ultimate winner of the season, winning $100,000.
This season of 'Love Island USA', like the previous ones, will be all about indivuiduals looking for love. This season of 'Love Island USA' was filmed in a popular tropical paradise, amid the palms and sandy beaches.
Where is 'Love Island USA' Season 5 filmed?
'Love Island USA' Season 5 is filmed in Fiji, Oceania. Fiji is an archipelago of more than 300 islands. It has beautiful rugged landscapes, palm-lined beaches, coral reefs and clear lagoons. Most of the population in Fiji is concentrated in Viti Levu and Vanua Levu. The crystal clear beaches and amazing views will add a certain sensuousness to the show. The contestants will be living in a luxury villa.
Season 1 was filmed in Fiji itself but the location changed in Season 2, which was filmed in Las Vegas. Season 3 was shot in Ninole, Hawaii, and Season 4 in Santa Barbara.
What will happen in 'Love Island USA' Season 5?
The official synopsis for 'Love Island USA' Season 5 reads, "Set in Fiji, season five of Peacock Original LOVE ISLAND USA will feature a new group of sexy singles on a search for love in a beautiful villa," adding, "Throughout their stay in a tropical oasis, Islanders will couple up to face brand new heart-racing challenges and bigger twists and turns than ever before. Temptations will rise and drama will ensue as new “bombshells” arrive throughout the season, forcing Islanders to decide if they want to remain with their current partners or recouple with someone new. Islanders will also be at the mercy of viewers at home who will vote to determine who gets another shot at love and who leaves the villa heartbroken and empty-handed."
'Love Island USA' Season 5 will release on July 18. New episodes drop at 6 pm ET/ 9 pm PT on Peacock.
