AUSTIN, TEXAS: Joe Rogan is not just a knowledgeable and humorous commentator; he is also a fan of rock 'n' roll! The multidimensional performer known for his love of music and exploration recently left on an exciting trip to Greece. He had no idea that this excursion would bring about a chance to meet with a rock icon and pave the way for a special moment he would always remember.
Rogan recently shared a photo on Instagram in which he described his travels to Greece. Fans adored his insights, and in only one hour, his Instagram had more than 100,000 likes.
‘It was f***ing amazing’
Rogan met Axl Rose by coincidence at a nearby restaurant while he was visiting Greece. The unexpected offer to attend Guns N' Roses' performance in Athens came from the band's vocalist during the accidental encounter. Rogan and his friends eagerly accepted the invitation to see the rock royalty in action.
“Was in Greece on vacation and randomly ran into Axl Rose at a restaurant. He invited us to see @gunsnroses in Athens, and it was f*cking amazing”, the caption read.
The performance by Guns N' Roses, which lasted three hours in the sweltering heat, was nothing short of mind-blowing. Rogan was awestruck by the concert's intensity and the band's unrelenting fervor, and he couldn't help but wax poetic about the occasion on his Instagram.
“They went hard for 3 hours in the blazing heat and the crowd was incredible. If you have a chance to see them near you I can’t recommend it enough,” Rogan added.
‘I was just watching it like, ‘Is this real?’’
It's interesting to note that Rogan spoke about his remarkable interaction with musical legends at an earlier JRE talk. Rogan talked about his experience at a Rolling Stones performance, where Mick Jagger and the band enthralled him and left him speechless.
“I was blown away. When I got there, I was a weirdo, like I couldn’t talk to anybody. I was just watching it like, ‘Is this real? Is that really Mick Jagger?,” he added.
