But Joe Rogan's commentary on his battle with Jason Miller is among the sport's funniest.
Jason Miller said that he possessed several skills necessary to be a licensed a**-whooper before his bout with Georges St-Pierre. Although Miller was giving St-Pierre a tremendous battle, the contest was not as intensely competitive as the Canadian fighter had hoped.
‘Retard strength’
After hearing what Miller's coach had to say, Joe Rogan, who was contributing to the analysis of the fight, was unable to contain his laughter.
“Retard Strength, that’s what they’re saying retard strength they keep yelling at him. I guess Jason Miller has retard strength that his corner wants him to use,” said Rogan.
While the UFC analyst continued to use the term "retard strength," Mike Goldberg, another commentator, continued the joke by stating that he was from Atlanta.
Many fans found Joe Rogan's repeat of "retard strength" amusing. Georges St-Pierre, meanwhile, prevailed in the match by unanimous decision and went on to win five other contests before challenging for the crown. After his final match at UFC 218, St-Pierre announced his retirement. He will return to martial arts in December.
A comeback for Georges St-Pierre?
