AUSTIN, TEXAS: During one 'The Joe Rogan Experience' episode, Joe Rogan, a UFC commentator and podcaster, discussed Elon Musk in glowing terms.
His description made fans think of the tech-savvy, fictional superhero Tony Stark aka Iron Man, who referred to himself as "genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist" in the Marvel movie 'The Avengers'.
Musk is the forerunner in terms of inventions aimed at improving humanity's future. Neuralink, one of his creations, is pretty futuristic. It has led to comparisons to Stark who also invents and builds futuristic tech and heads Stark Industries.
Despite the fact that Rogan is not a voice actor (or superhero), his narration of Musk as a movie character was nothing short of astounding.
Musk is the founder of multiple world-renowned firms, including Tesla, Space X, and Twitter. Rogan presented his rendition of Musk's movie persona while negotiating to take over Twitter.
Joe Rogan made Elon Musk sound like the IRL version of 'Iron Man'
During one of his podcasts, Rogan expressed his delight at the news that Musk was interested in taking over Twitter, now rebranded as 'X'.
He also discussed the type of character Musk would play in the film. Rogan remarked, “He’s the super-intelligent leader-type character that seems to have great ethics and morals too."
The 55-year-old went on to say, "And he seems to be, like, a guy that if you had a movie character, and the movie character was like this super billionaire who didn’t give a f**k, but he was super f**king smart, and he’s really, genuinely working to save humanity, that’s that.“
Rogan's vision was not off the mark, since the writer behind the 'Iron Man' movie, Mark Fergus, admitted in an interview that he was inspired by Musk when writing Tony Stark's character in the film.
Iron Man writer revealed inspiration behind movie
Musk is well-known for his appearance in the film 'Iron Man 2'. However, many fans are unaware that the film's scriptwriter was inspired by Musk.
According to 'Iron Man' writer Mark Fergus, Elon Musk was an inspiration for Iron Man, along with former President Donald Trump and Steve Jobs. Fergus even explained how Musk had many parallels with the Marvel universe's tech genius.
Fergus stated, “[Musk], Trump, and maybe a little Steve Jobs… Musk took the brilliance of Jobs with the showmanship of Trump. He was the only one who had the fun factor and the celebrity vibe and actual business substance.“
Despite participating in multiple films, Musk has yet to be the subject of a film. It's uncertain whether the authors will take the same method Rogan did when making the film about Musk.
