She added, "So it was very easy to get into the business." However, she never expected that her career will lead her to become a TV star one day. Alison said that one day a random email came from a production company out of Sacramento, California. It said, "We're looking for a designer in Chicago, it's for an HGTV show, anybody wants to do it?" And, Alison's answer to the mail was "f**k yes."
