ROME, ITALY: Melanie Griffith and Antonio Banderas' daughter, Stella Banderas, recently took to Instagram to flaunt her trim figure through a series of photos from a vacation with her friends at what seems like an Italian destination. The 26-year-old model and entrepreneur looked incredible in a tiny black bikini and kept her hair tied in a loose ponytail, which showcased her straight brown locks.
As part of the Instagram photo dump, Stella also shared images of her pals as well as photos of the scenic landscape from their holiday destination. The model also went makeup free and gave her followers a glimpse of her natural beauty. In one of the candid photos, she was seen wearing a peach gown and kneeling down to take a photo from underneath an archway. Stella kept the caption of her post simplistic, only opting towards a red heart emoji.
What does Stella Banderas do?
While Stella was born to famous actor parents, she decided to establish a career as a model and entrepreneur. However, she has one film role to her credit. Born on September 24, 1996 in Marbella, Spain, Stella is fluent in English and Spanish. She appeared in the 1999 film 'Crazy in Alabama'. She has graced the cover of Glamour Spain in 2020.
The 26-year-old is also the founder of Lightbound Studios, a beauty and wellness business that provides "handcrafted creations for the soul, body, and earth." She has over 200K followers on Instagram and describes herself as a "multimedia storyteller" in the app. According to the Daily Mail, she has collaborated with major fashion brands including Hermes Beauty to Matisse Footwear for artistic editing work.
Stella has also directed a short video series titled 'Portraits Of The Divine Feminie', snippets of which she shared on her Instagram account. She is also known for making public appearances at prominent events alongside her now-divorced parents.
Why did Stella Banderas legally shorten her name?
Following her parents' 2015 divorce, Stella made news after she filed to legally shorten her name from "Stella del Carmen Banderas Griffith" to "Stella del Carmen Banderas" in 2021. However, she remains close to both her parents and said her move was not part of any resentment towards her mother.
"I typically do not use 'Griffith' when referring to myself or on documents," she explained in court documents obtained by People at the time. The business owner believed that it would be easier to legally shorten her name as it would, "match [her] regular use."
