AUSTIN, TEXAS: UFC middleweight champion Sean Strickland recently recounted his early exposure to porn in 1st grade on Joe Rogan's podcast, 'The Joe Rogan Experience', and fans are of the opinion that it amounts to 'child abuse'.
Strickland is no stranger to controversy, routinely expressing his unfettered opinions on a wide range of challenging matters. He has drawn attention on numerous occasions, from revealing intimate encounters in the desert to making troubling accusations about first-degree murder.
'We had a communal porn box'
However, during his interview with Rogan, Strickland disclosed an intriguing aspect of his past. He said that his father's collection of pornographic films introduced him to them in the first grade.
He said, "I was watching porn in like early Elementary School, like first grade and second grade because we had a communal porn box. My dad had this like an old school water heater box and just stacked with f**king porn." After hearing this, Rogan was amazed at the revelation. He just said, "Wow."
After this statement, a Twitter user took to the platform, writing, "Sean Strickland first watched porn in 1st grade. “We had a communal porn box” that was used by his brother and father."
'Sick and wrong'
Strickland's unusual narrative received significant reactions from fans right away. Many people were concerned about the potential influence on his life. A fan said, "This explains so much… dude was abused as a child and doesn’t even know it lol".
Another user said, "This is sick and wrong. Undoubtedly his perceptions of women, sex and sexuality were irretrievably warped by exposure to pornography at such a young, impressionable age."
One user wrote, "Don’t understand the crying laughing emoji. There’s not a lot of humor to find in being exposed to seeing sex at such a young age. That’s pretty awful and disgusting tbh".
