Roker shared on Instagram where he is and why he's missing from the morning show. 'Today' fans have been dying to know where he is since his disappearance this week.
The 69-year-old posted a video revealing that he is traveling to the Deep South while his co-hosts are filling in for his ‘Today’ duties.
Roker shared several other snaps from his trip featuring enjoying a meal at the original Gus’s World-Famous Fried Chicken.

‘Today’ Show weather reporter Al Roker uploaded a video of himself capturing his powerwalk in the charming city of Memphis, Tennessee.
The veteran weatherman revealed that he was currently "on assignment," his brisk strides accompanied by the picturesque backdrop of the "mighty Mississippi" river.
With his characteristic charm and enthusiasm, Roker motivated his followers to join him in the quest to "get their steps in," embodying his commitment to staying active and healthy.
