NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: ‘Today’ show's beloved meteorologist Al Roker has recently shared adorable pics from the US Open with his NBC ‘giants’ team.
Roker took to Instagram to share glimpses from the US Open 2023 women’s singles final as ‘Today’ teams joined the players on their big day.
The ‘Today’ team looked all excited and geared up as each one of the hosts posted several snaps from the stadium.
‘Today’ hosts Hoda Kotb, Craig Melvin, Roker, and Savannah Guthrie were present with their family members and each sent a heartiest congratulation to 19-year-old prodigy Coco Gauff who became the third American teenager to win the US Open women’s title.
‘Today’ team meets Coco Gauff
On Instagram, ‘Today’ weather reporter Al Roker posted several snaps highlighting co-hosts' exciting moments at the US Open.
In one of the photos, Roker smiled with Coco Gauff and NFL legend Eli Manning.
He captioned the post, “Wait til you see the story we did with @nfl legend Eli Manning and then @cocogauff 2023 @usopen Women’s Champion joins us exclusively LIVE tomorrow am, only on @todayshow.”
In another post, Roker shared a video of ‘Today’ hosts cheering up Gauff and congratulating her on her epic win.
Craig Melvin, Savannah Guthrie, Roker, and Hoda Kotb clapped and jumped all over the ground and each gave a warm hug to Gauff and her father, Corey Gauff.
Roker captioned the post, “I think we were just a tad excited to meet the reigning @usta @usopen Women’s Champion @cocogauff today ahead of her exclusive sit down tomorrow am on @todayshow and so thrilled to meet her dad, @coreygauff”
Roker also revealed that the morning show will be live on the ‘Today’ show and on local NBC station. He shared a sweet snap with his co-hosts and Coco Gauff.
