NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Dolores Catania spoke out for her son, Frankie Catania Jr, on Wednesday, June 13 episode of 'The Real Housewives of New Jersey' reunion. Her ex-husband, Frank, said that the couple's son departed Louie 'Luis' Ruelas' employment due to disagreements. Dolores, on the other hand, dismissed the charges and refused to discuss her son during the reunion moment. Viewers, on the other hand, believe Dolores is scared of Luis, fearing he has dirt on her too, all thanks to his private investigator arsenal.
Frank admitted to harboring some anger against Luis. Then, a previously unknown interaction from Season 13 plays, reveals a chat between Frank and Joe Gorga. During their conversation, Frank states that Luis never informed Frankie (who was working for him at the time) that his business was shutting down. Dolores, on the other hand, has a quite different perspective.
'I'm very thankful for Luis'
When the 'RHONJ' guys join the rest of the group on the reunion stage, Andy Cohen questions Frank about Frankie's employment with Luis. "No, Frankie's no longer with Luis," Frank clarifies. "He got another job," Dolores says. "And that was it."
Joe answers, "Not what [he] heard," but Dolores quickly shuts down the rumors about Frankie's work and connection with Luis. "Right now, I'm gonna tell you what happened," Dolores says. "Luis gave my son a job. He was very happy working with him, and I'm very thankful for Luis. I don't know what this rumor is, and I don't want to talk about Frankie at all in this cesspit of anything."
Dolores then discusses the present state of Frankie and Luis' relationship. "This ends right here about Luis and Frankie's relationship, 'cause they're very good," Dolores says. "So that ends right here." "You and I have never had a problem," she says directly to Joe. "I don't want one. I'm very happy, and I'm very thankful for Luis and Frankie. Thank you [Luis] for when you hired my son, and that's it."
When Andy questions Dolores, she responds, "I'm upset because I don't want to talk about anything about my son. Frankie has a good job, and that's all that happened. That's it. I have no problem with that."
'Look at Dolores cappin for Luis'
Fans turned to social media to express their concern that Dolores could be afraid to say anything negative about Teresa's spouse because Luis claimed to have 'dirt' on practically all the cast members. One person tweeted, "Dolores may not want to talk about Frankie because Luis may do something if she bad mouths him. There’s something wrong with Luis. We need Detective Meghan King or someone on the case to investigate this Brooks-a-like." Another person chimed in, "I’m very surprised at how Dolores is covering for Luis about why her son doesn’t work for him anymore. She really dropped the ball here. SMH." Embarassed by Dolores' antics on the set, one person tweeted, "My gawd, Dolores is looking like the BIGGEST clown and a*s kisser. That man looked to have done her child wrong, (Allegedly) but there she sits sucking up to the gasligher and his narcissistic wife! Why is she afraid of Teresa and Luis???" A fourth user believes, "Dolores trying to stop anyone speaking abt Frakie Jr says to me Luis 100% dropped the axe and Frankie lost his job."
Finding the whole act sickening, one person wrote, "Look at Dolores cappin for Luis. She’s such a fence rider it’s sickening !!!" Another fan theory read, "Dolores kissing luis a*s when he said he had a file on everyone including her is weird and dolores is covering for him. i still think whatever happened with luis and franky is why dolores and teresa had they're falling out pre-season." Calling the situation sad, one person noted, "Look at Dolores under the Luis spell. It's so sad. It's more for protecting Tre, most likely, but my God, it's sad." A user also feels Dolores is trying to protect her son, as they wrote, "I can understand Dolores trying to protect her son bc she doesn’t want Frankie’s career tainted by unknowingly working for a conman like Luis!"
'The Real Housewives of New Jersey' Season 14 is yet to be announced by Bravo.
