LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: One of Netflix’s most popular fantasy adaptations, ‘The Witcher’ is out with the first part of its third season. The first part ended with Geralt and Yennever finally learning about the person responsible for all those sickening experiments to destroy Princess Ciri and Yennefer calling for a Northern alliance against the Nilfgaardian empire. The first part of the third season stayed close to its source material and allowed for a more cohesive bond to blossom between its three leading characters — Geralt, Ciri, and Yennefer.
The season has also introduced a big supporting cast who have all played their respective roles to near perfection. It might be disappointing for many fans to learn that this might be the last time that they witness Henry Cavill in ‘The Witcher’ as the star is set to leave after the third season ends. From the fourth season, Liam Hemsworth is set to take on the role of ‘The Witcher’ and carry the franchise forward. But there are still a few episodes due to come out that will conclude Henry Cavill’s journey on the show.
