LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'The Voice' Season 24 contestant Jordan Rainer is from Atoka, Oklahoma. She currently lives in Nashville. She moved to Nashville with her husband and a dog 8 years ago.
Jordan claims she is a woman who has done what needs to be done for survival. She was almost kidnapped in 2020 and she did her best to get past that incident.
Jordon went viral on TikTok after revealing about her kidnapping news. She said in The Tamron Hall Show, "I knew in my gut if I had walked past his driver’s side door, that door would have opened and I would have been in a hand-to-hand combat for my life."
Jordan has released her several singles including, 'Better Liar,' 'Straight Shot,' and 'Painted Horse.' These are available on Apple Music and Spotify.
Jordan Rainer's performance gets four chair turn
Jordan performed 'Fancy' by Reba McEntire in the audition round. In the first few seconds, we saw Jordan managing to make Niall Horan, Reba McEntire, and Gwen Stefani's chair turn around. Later, John Legend also pressed the buzzer.
As Jordan sang, her family cheered her behind the stage. Reba seems to be the most excited of all as she was impressed seeing Jordan perform her song.
After Jordan's song ended, she claimed, "It was written by a strong woman," clearly hinting towards being admitted by Reba.
Reba McEntire accuses Niall Horan of bribing Blake Shelton
Each judge seems to try hard to pull Jordan into their team. But, it seems Reba was adamant about turning down everyone.
Niall praised the singer, "When we turned and it all matched up, the energy in your vocal to the energy in your performance, the sunglasses, the hat." Jordan claimed she wear these because it's gifted by her mother.
Niall went on to praise Jordan and her country music. Listening to these claims, Reba interfered in between, "Oh my gosh." Niall claimed towards the end, "It would be an absolute honor to work with you. Please pick me"
Reba then pitched her park asking Jordan to choose her. Niall continued to interfere her speech by pressing the buzzer. She said, "Niall is like a son to me." Blake Shelton's pre-recorded message played, "Niall is a global superstar."
Reba then accused Niall Horan in a funny way saying, "How much did you pay him?"
Jordan Rainer joins Team Reba
Jordan chooses Reba as her coach. It was obvious from her performance that she was going to pick Reba as she sang her song and in her introduction claimed to be completely smitten by her.
Reba says, "Take Taylor Swift for instance. She works so hard to communicate with her fans- I can see Jrdan doing that."
'The Voice' Season 24 premiered on September 25 and releases new episodes every Monday at 8 pm ET on NBC.
