LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: After the GOP debate that took place in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on Wednesday, August 23, ‘The View’ host and former Donald Trump aide, Alyssa Farah Griffin has showcased her support for former VP Mike Pence and Former Governor of South Carolina Nikki Haley.
In addition to showing her support for Pence and Haley, Griffin has seemingly doubled down on her feelings about Indian-American entrepreneur and Republican candidate, Vivek Ramaswamy.
Griffin has made it clear that she will not support him in the race.
Griffin appeared on CNN before and after the GOP debate, however, her tweets proved where her support lied, and where it didn’t.
Alyssa Farah Griffin cheers on Nikki Haley and Mike Pence
‘The View’ co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin took to X, formerly known as Twitter, amidst the GOP debate, as well as after to express her thoughts on the same.
A few days before the debate, Griffin had tweeted her predictions for the big night, “Debate predix: -Nikki Haley wins the night -DeSantis takes the most blows -Vivek chips away at RDS’ populist support."
Further adding, "Tim Scott sees a boost -Christie has the most viral moments & makes progress on margins w/Trump skeptical R’s-Pence gets most applause on life/ social issues.”
If her predictions didn’t prove her support for Nikki Haley and Mike Pence, her tweets in the middle and after the debate did.
For Haley, Griffin wrote, “@NikkiHaley always comes to play." For Pence, she said, “@Mike_Pence with a strong start. He’s the most experienced on a debate stage, having debated as Governor & as VP. Strong swipe at Vivek.”
Between Haley and Pence, Griffin has shown more support for Pence in comparison as she tweeted, “That’s the @Mike_Pence I know & love.”
Alyssa Farah Griffin takes a dig at Vivek Ramaswamy on X
Before the debate, ‘The View’ host had labeled Vivek Ramaswamy as ‘unqualified.’ It appears that Griffin hasn’t budged on her opinion of Ramaswamy as she took several digs at him about the GOP debate.
Griffin tweeted, “This debate is absolutely chaotic. Fox is letting Vivek steamroll.” She also called him “smug” as she wrote, “Oddly, Vivek’s smugness is bringing out the best in Pence.”
“You’ve got no foreign policy experience and it shows.” -@NikkiHaley dismantling Vivek 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻” wrote Griffin as she applauded Haley for "dismantling" Ramaswamy.
Griffin also compared Ramaswamy to Pence in a tweet, “Here’s @Mike_Pence Vladimir Putin in 2018. Vivek wouldn’t have the courage to & wants to make concessions to a war criminal rather than stand with our allies.”
