What is 'Thanksgiving' movie about?
The official 'Thanksgiving' plot summary from IMDb reads, "After a Black Friday riot ends tragically, a mysterious holiday-themed killer terrorises Plymouth, Massachusetts—the city that gave birth to the infamous holiday."
Additionally, Cream Productions and Ethereal Visage Productions collaborated on the production, while Sony Pictures bought the rights for the film's international theatrical release.
The first 'Thanksgiving' poster featured a mask-wearing person who was drenched in blood. The mysterious figure is wearing a hat with a golden adornment like a buckle.
The figure is depicted wielding a bloodied golden axe, which produces an ominous black and gold motif with blood splatters, to suggest the theme of the horror genre.
'Thanksgiving' is the boldly displayed title of the film, with the letter "K" metaphorically suggesting a knife. This gives a hint to the gory scenes spectators might anticipate in the movie, when the crazy killer might use an axe and a knife.
In addition, the movie poster features the statement "There will be no leftovers," which is displayed in white.
